How Do I Know If I Need My Prop Balanced?
You can tell if a prop is out of balance because of the vibrations it would induce into the airframe. Some vibrations can be induced by a poor-running engine, however that can usually be determined if you’re experiencing poor performance with your aircraft. Engine vibration will have a higher frequency than a prop vibration as well.
